At 0005 hours, while operating on Route 38 and Mount Laurel Road, Assistant Chief (3902) requested Squad 27 to assist R3919 on the scene of an MVC involving a corvette vs a pole and multiple parked buses. The driver was pinned under the vehicle. Squad 27 (Iannacone) arrived and immediately went into service stabilizing the vehicle and then lifting it to free the patient. Medic 100, Medic 34, and BLS 399 handled the patient care and transport to the LZ. The Squad operated on scene for approximately one hour. During the incident Traffic 2729 was added to the incident as part of a Fire Police strike team to help control trafic on Route 38.
