At 2102hrs the assignment was dispatched to the 900 block of Woodlane Road in Mount Holly for a house on fire. Chief 5001 arrived to find a 2 story end unit townhouse well involved on Melody Court in Eastampton Township.  Squad 27 (Davis)  arrived as the first due engine went to work with a 2" handline and the deck gun.  Engine 27 with 4 members responded on the All Hands dispatch and arrived 3rd due and laid 600' of 5" LDH to complete a secondary water supply.  The crew from Engine 27 and Ambulance 2782 along with Engine 3411, Engine 5011, and Quint 3614 worked together to handle interior and exterior truck tasks which included opening the roof and extensive hook work which led to keeping very minimal extension to the exposure unit.  Ambulance 2781 and Ambulance 5091 stood by on location providing BLS coverage for the location .  Traffic 2729 was also on scene covering traffic control duties around the scene.  A 2nd alarm assignment was brought into the scene and used for various overhaul duties.

Through outstanding teamwork by the members of the departments on this incident, the fire was held primarily to the original unit with only minor extension to the adjoining units.

The crews from Westampton returned to quarters at 0030hrs.
